A More Playful Me
Training Description:
Play benefits everyone! We all recognize the many developmental benefits of play for children. Yet as adults, we rarely give ourselves permission to engage in play—or to approach our work with playfulness. Developing a playful mindset takes intention and practice, but it can be a powerful tool in professional settings.
In the midst of daily tasks and organizational demands, a playful mindset helps us remain open, curious, and collaborative. It encourages creative problem-solving, supports stronger relationships, and promotes more effective teamwork. By bringing playfulness into our leadership and workplace practices, we not only expand our own capacity but also contribute to systems that achieve better outcomes for our organizations and our communities.
Objectives:
During this workshop participants will:
1. Define the six C’s of play.
2. Employ methods to increase playfulness for adults.
3. Identify the components of the Playful Mindset.
4. Experiment with games as a method for real world problem solving.
5. Formulate a plan to implement playful mindset in our daily lives.
